Betty Ann Holmes

Mrs. Betty Ann Holmes, age 73, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at her residence.

Mrs. Holmes retired as a seamstress from Cherokee Manufacturing Plant.

Mrs. Holmes was preceded in death by her husband, James Willie Holmes; her parents; and grandson, Christopher Groover.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by her children; Tim (Tracy) Croy of Cleveland, Pamela (Dr. John) House of Brunswick, Terry Holmes of Winder, and Jennifer (Mark) Groover of Winder; siblings Bruce (Melissa) Wallace of Jefferson and Lynn Reynolds; and four grandchildren, Samantha Dierlan of Brunswick, Joshua Croy of Cleveland, Jessica Sheriff of Winder, and Rodney Hughes of Winder.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Carter Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
