Mr. Charles Edward Priest, age 69 of Auburn, Georgia died September 29, 2014. He was a son of the late Ed and Annie B. Jones Priest. He was preceded by a daughter, Lisa Sheppard and served as a volunteer for 10 years with the Bread of Life Ministry. Mr. Priest was a retired heavy equipment operator with the Georgia Department of Transportation.
Surviving are Wife, Allene Starnes Priest, Children, Ruby Witzman of Florida, Regina Haynes of Auburn and Charles Allen Priest of Tennessee, Seven Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, Brother, Jackie Williams of Alabama.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Barker officiating. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
