Mrs. Cora Jones Thomas, age 92, of Auburn, Georgia passed away August 27, 2017. Mrs. Thomas was born August 27, 1925 in Pickens County, Georgia to the late Johnny and Minnie Lee Hendrix Jones. She was preceded by Her Husband, Andrew Thomas, and Sons, Donald Thomas and Ricky Thomas. Mrs. Thomas was of the Baptist Denomination and was a homemaker.
Surviving are Children, Nora Lee Parr of Homer, Georgia, Patsy (Billy) Still of Auburn, Georgia, Bud (Dot) Thomas of Talking Rock, Georgia, Jerry (Linda) Thomas of Ball Ground, Georgia, Eight Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren, Sister, Jewell Childers of Holly Springs, Georgia.
A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Childers officiating. The Family will receive friends Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
