Mr. Daniel Lee Orr, age 81, of Commerce, Georgia died August 27, 2017 at his residence. A native of Gainesville, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Monroe and Tinnie Hagwood Orr. He was preceded by a son, Tommy Lee Orr. Mr. Orr was a retired truck driver with Gainesville Iron Works and was a member of The Baptist Tabernacle of Commerce. Mr. Orr was a United States Army Veteran.
Surviving are Children, Daphney Lynn Peters of Winder, Georgia, Christa Lane McFalls of Hartwell, Georgia, Teresa Louise Diaz Orozco of Athens, Georgia and Larry Lee Orr of Homer, Georgia. Twenty-two Grandchildren and a number of Great Grandchildren also survive.
A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 11:00 A. M. at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ron Perrin officiating.
