David "Pete" Etheridge

Mr. David “Pete” Etheridge, age 78, of Hoschton, Georgia passed away March 4, 2020. He was born October 18, 1941 in Dacula, Georgia to the late Floyd and Minnesota Butler Etheridge. Mr. Etheridge was the first employee of Peachtree Tool and Die. He remained there for over forty years, first as General Tool on Howell Mill Road, second as Peachtree Tool and Die, located on Old Norcross-Tucker Road in a new facility, then to a newer facility, Peachtree Tooling and Die, located in Braselton. He had resided in Barrow County for the past fifty years and was of the Baptist Denomination.

Family members include, wife, Martha Graham Etheridge, sons, Mark Etheridge and Tim Etheridge, brother, Donnis Etheridge, sisters, Janice Woodard and Linda Upton, one grandchild.

The Family will receive friends Friday, March 6, 2020 from 5:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 11:00 A. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Pastor Dee Dillon and Pastor Donnie Pennington officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
