Mr. David Lee Willoughby, age 63, of Winder, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at his residence.
Mr. Willoughby worked for Olympic Steel for over twenty years and most recently Johns Manville. He was an avid fisherman and devoted NASCAR fan. David was a proud United States patriot that strongly supported the first and second amendment. David will be remembered best as a honest, generous man that had a heart of gold and would do anything for others.
Mr. Willoughby was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy L. Willoughby and Rachel Black Willoughby.
Mr. Willoughby is survived by his loving daughter, Emily Willoughby of Athens; sister, Donna Lynn Willoughby (Tony) Boone; and devoted friend, Gail Dukes of Athens.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Carter Funeral Home.
