Delrose Mae Bassant passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Winder, Georgia.

She was born on December 21, 1958, in Yallahs, Jamaica, to the late Percivel Bassant & Melvina Kerridge. Ms. Reid moved to Winder from New Jersey in 2021. She loved to visit family and going to church.

She is survived by her children, Denise Anderson and Monica Grey & Stephen, Andrew Anderson, and Leon Anderson; 5 grandchildren; and siblings, Winston Richards, Angela Richards, Delrita Richards, Hyacinth Williams, and Errol Richards.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.
