Mrs. Doris G. Thornton, age 86, of Winder, Georgia passed away March 3, 2015. November 16, 1946, she married John Thornton, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Thornton was a member of Union Baptist Church and was a retiree of Superior Garment Manufacturing Company of Winder. Several Nieces and Nephews survive.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 6, 2015 at 4:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. David Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 3-4 P. M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
