Mr. Herbert Edward "Ed" Lee, age 71, of Winder, Georgia died March 12, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness. A native of Atlanta, Georgia he was a son of the late Herbert C. and Alice Ranson Lee. He was preceded by a son, H. Edward Lee. Mr. Lee was a retired truck driver with American Freight Lines.
Surviving are children, Jamie Lee of New York, Scott Lee of Dallas, Rita Shipman of Winder, Stacy Pitts of Hiram, Rachel Meldrum of Sumter, South Carolina, Terry Smith of Commerce and Kerry Penrod of Dallas, Thirteen Grandchildren, Three Great Grandchildren, Sister, Ann Fann of College Park and a number of Nieces and Nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A. M., Saturday, March 16, 2013 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home.
