Edward James Walsh

Edward James Walsh, age 69, of Hoschton, Georgia died August 30, 2018. A son of the late John Francis and Margaret Conroy Walsh, Ed was preceded by his daughter Kelly Jean Goebeler and two brothers Robert and John Walsh. A US Army veteran, Ed retired from AT&T with 30 years of service. He loved woodworking and collecting Lionel trains. Mostly, Ed cherished the time he spent with his friends and family.

Surviving are his loving wife of 50 years Doris Walsh of Hoschton, GA, son, daughter-in-law and grandson, Timothy, Elizabeth and Samuel Walsh of Essex, MA, and brother, Kevin Walsh.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, Oakwood, GA. Pastor Mike Freeman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors or Christ Lutheran Church.
