Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” Allen, age 81, of Auburn, Georgia passed away December 14, 2020.
Mrs. Allen was born January 19, 1939 in Newnan, George to the late Alton and Gladys Stitcher Blair. She was preceded by her husband of 45 years Richard Harold Allen in 2001, a son Rick Allen in 2000 and her brother Joe Blair in 2004. A member of First Baptist Carl, Mrs. Allen retired from Russell Nursing Home in 2002.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Pam and William Hollaway of Winder, Georgia, son and daughter-in-law, Greg and Monica Allen of Monroe, Georgia, son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Sharie Allen of Auburn, Georgia, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held 12:30 P.M., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Winder, Georgia. Rev. Tom Hamm will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The First Baptist Church of Carl, 1588 Carl-Bethlehem Road, Auburn, Georgia. 30011.
