Elsa Louise Scott, 92, of Jefferson, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, peacefully, surrounded by family.

Ms. Scott was born, September 21, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Arthur Claude Scott & Justine Standard. She worked in HR & Administration work for Cleveland State University. Ms. Scott enjoyed painting and drawing along with classical & Gospel music. One her biggest passions was her church in Ohio, Union Avenue Christian Missionary Alliance. She served on various boards and was a servant for Christ.

She is survived by her children, Jessica A. Scott of Jefferson, and Jeffrey A. Scott & Myra of Sacremento, California; grandchildren, Srina Scott, Dylan Maxey, Jr. & Jacqueline, and Dyan Maxey; great-grandchildren, Isabella Ruiz, Olivia Maxey, Serenity Maxey, and Reagan Maxey.

Services will be held at a later date.
