Mrs. Elsie S. Bruce, age 78, of Winder, Georgia died May 15, 2013 at her residence. A native of Elberton, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Will and Willie Mae Meyerholtz. She was preceded by her husband, Eugene Bruce and siblings, Pauline Drake, Andrew, Ken and Ralph Meyerholtz.
Surviving are Children, Glen (Sheryl) Bruce of Gainesville, Ellen Tyler of Winder, Carol (Mike) Chambers of Jefferson, Sherry (Rex) Carroll of Ellijay and Connie (Jimmy) Rawlins of Winder, Seven Grandchildren, Twelve Great Grandchildren and Brother, J. W. Meyerholtz of Hartwell.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Friday from 12 noon until 1:45 P. M. at the funeral home.
