Frances Chandler

August 15, 1922 — February 3, 2015

Mrs. Frances Chandler, age 92, of Winder, Georgia passed away February 3, 2015.
Born and raised in Barrow County. She moved to Atlanta when she was sixteen years old and worked at Rich's department store. She married Harold J. Chandler in 1947 and they both worked for the R&R Manufacturing Company for many years. She lived in Carl in front of Elder's Lake from 1955 until 2009. She and her husband always had a very large garden each year and sold fresh produce to many of the local small grocery stores in and around Winder over the years. While she only had one son, she had 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Carl and later attended Bethlehem Church. She loved and was loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Chandler was preceded by her husband, Harold Chandler and a grandson, Barret Masters.
Surviving are Son and Daughter-in-law, Jeff and Vicki Chandler of Winder, Grandchildren, Damon Cavender (Tawni), Crescent Waters and Savannah Chandler, Seven Great Grandchildren - Collin (Alesa) Waters, Chase, Chance and Caitlin Waters, Kethryn, Castle and Bella Cavender, and Sisters, Dorothy Marlowe of Gainesville and Deweylene Swords of Winder.
A Funeral Service is scheduled Friday, February 6, 2015 at 3:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Banks and Rev. Mike Peavy officiating. Interment will be in Carl Cemetery with Rev. Jason Britt officiating. The Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
