Henry Mcelroy

Mr. Henry McElroy, age 90, of Bogart, Georgia died February 20, 2012. A native of Jersey, Georgia he was a son of the late John and Jessie Mae Briscoe McElroy. Mr. McElroy was a retired home builder and was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of The Winder Wesleyan Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Moore officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 P. M. at the funeral home. Surviving are Wife, Veta Tanner McElroy of Bogart, Children, Scott McElroy of Bogart, Joe McElroy of Hoschton, Neal McElroy and Ricky McElroy both of Bogart, Phillip McElroy of Winder, Denise McElroy Johnson and Diane Mathis both of Winder, Eight Grandchildren and Four Great Grandchildren, Brother Bobby McElroy of Bogart.
