Herman W. Anderson

Mr. Herman W. Anderson, age 93, of Auburn, Georgia died February 26, 2015. A Native of West Virginia he was a son of the late Fred and Edna Hunt Anderson. He was preceded by his wife, Olive Smith Anderson and a son, Robert Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was a retiree of Quaker Oats where he served as a research engineer. He was a member of New Hope Road Church of Christ in Dacula.
Surviving are Children, William Ray (Janice) Anderson of Mulberry, Florida, Ellen June Anderson Mills of Auburn, Nancy A. (Thomas) Hair of Winnabow, North Carolina, Daughter-in-law, Janet Lynn Anderson of Dahlonega, Ten Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren also survive.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P. M. Saturday, February 28, 2015 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Minister Ken Young officiating. The Family will receive friends Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
