James Wesley King, Sr.,

Mr. James Wesley King, Sr., 70 of Winder, Georgia died April 6, 2013. A native of Winder, Georgia, he was a son of the late Berry and Lois Irby King. He was preceded by his wife of 49 years Clydie M. King in 2011. A US Army Veteran, he retired from Owens of Georgia as a Superintendent with 27 years of service.

Surviving are Daughters and Sons-in-law, Sandy and Tommy Fowler, Connie and Eddie Wallace, Son, James King, Jr., Daughter and Son-in-law, Kimberly and Phillip Johnson all of Winder, Brother and Sister-in-law, Charles and Jewell D. King of Huntsville, AL, Sisters, Betty J. McDaniel, Virginia King both of Jefferson, GA, Nine Grandchildren, and Three Great Grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013at 2:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyt Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 P.M. and Monday from 10-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
