Mr. James O. Tarrant, age 65, of Hoschton, Georgia died September 30, 2013 at his residence. A native of East St. Louis, Illinois, he was a Son of the late Orval James and Doris Lauerman Tarrant. Mr. Tarrant was an Army Veteran of the Viet Nam War and was a retiree of General Motors.
Surviving are Children, Jaime Schaffer of Gastonia, N. C., Deanna Hall of Winder, Ga., Brigitte Bowen of Monroe, Ga., and Brian Allen of Braselton, Ga., Grandchildren, Tyler Hall, Thomas Hall, Brooke Bowen, Brandon Bowen, Abigail Allen, Ariana Gibson and Braxton Johnson, Brothers, Dennis Wayne Tarrant and Timothy Mark Tarrant.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 P. M., Wednesday, October 2, 2013 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Williams officiating. Interment will be in Georgia Memorial Park. The Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 1, 2013 from 4-9 P. M. at the funeral home.
