Ken H. Propst

Mr. Kenneth H. Propst, age 90, of Winder, Georgia passed away February 21, 2015. Born in Concord, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Clarence and Beatrice Propst. He was preceded in death by siblings Wesley Propst, Betty Baker and Peggy Angley. Mr. Propst was a former resident of Atlanta and had resided in Winder for the past eighteen years. Mr. Propst was an Army Air Corp Veteran of World War Two and was an active member of the Winder First Baptist Church. He was the former owner of Propst Insurance Agency and was a Mason.
Surviving are Wife, Ernestine Propst of Winder, Children, Kevin Howell Propst of Dunwoody, Georgia and Nancy (Craig) Propst Johnson of Knoxville, Tennessee, Grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Claire Johnson, Peyton Propst, and Harper Propst, Siblings, Phil (Ethel) Propst of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Richard (Lib) Propst of Charlotte, North Carolina and Barbara (Johnny) Andrews of Concord, North Carolina.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Walston officiating. The family will receive friends beginning are 1:00 P. M. Thursday at the funeral home.
