Mr. Les Konig, age 55 of Social Circle, Georgia died April 4, 2014. A native of Tampa, Florida, he was preceded by his Wife, Louise Knight Konig, Father, Thomas L. Konig and Brother, Tommy Konig. Mr. Konig was a machinist at Versatile Mold and Design of Rutledge, Georgia.
Surviving are Children, Lauren (Joshua) Phillips of Kingsport, Tennessee, Amber (Jonathon) Hobbs of Social Circle, Jeremy Konig and Holly Kelley of Social Circle, Ten Grandchildren, Mother, Helen Whatley of Cleveland, Tennessee and Sister, Karen (Mike) Gordon of Murphy, North Carolina.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Monday, April 7, 2014 from 6-9 P. M. at the funeral home.
