Mrs. Lillian Sykes, age 70, of Auburn, Georgia died October 15, 2012. A Barrow County Native, she was the daughter of the late "Boozer" and Jewell Holloway House. Mrs. Sykes retired from The Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Division of the United States Government. She was a member of Nazareth United Methodist Church.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Friday, October 19, 2012 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Shirley officiating. Interment will be in Nazareth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 P. M. at the funeral home.
Surviving are Husband, Douglas Sykes of Auburn, Daughter, Jessica Jillian Ogburn of Auburn, Two Grandsons, Cameron Ogburn and Ryker Ogburn and Cousin, Glenda Bannister of Monroe.
