Mrs. Madge Marie Hardegree, age 75 of Statham, Georgia died April 15, 2012. A native of Jackson County, she was a daughter of the late Ed and Juanita Bryant Pursley. She was preceded by her Husband, Billy Hardegree and a Son, Eddie Hardegree. Mrs. Hardegree had resided in Oconee County for most of her life and was a retiree of St. Mary's Hospital and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving are Children, Billy Dean and Nancy Hardegree of Statham, Ricky Hardegree of Davisboro, Georgia, Debbie and Wade Creech, Michelle Bellamy all of Statham, Sister Betty (Bobby) Barber of Statham, Fourteen Grandchildren and Seventeen Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Thursday, April 19, 2012 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Evans officiating. The Family will receive friends Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6-9 P. M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Bethabara Baptist Church Cemetery.
