Marc Warren Barefield, age 50, of Winder died August 24, 2011. A native of Atlanta, Georgia he was employed with Power Building Supply in retail sales. Mr. Barefield was a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 P. M. from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Miller officiating. Interment was in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Surviving are Wife, Lisa Barefield of Winder, Children, Lauren Griffeth, Caleb Barefield and Hannah Barefield all of Winder, Parents, Barbara and Ernie Barefield of Bluffton, S. C., Sister, Dawn Mills of Cumming, Nieces, Jordan Mills, Taylor Mills and Savannah Wilbanks, Nephew, Chase Wilbanks, Mother-in-law – Jean Wilbanks, Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Pam and Les Hanson, Lynn and Connie Wilbanks all of Winder. Carter Funeral Home of Winder was in charge of arrangements.
