Mary Eliane Kavanaugh, aged 76, of Dacula Georgia passed away on May 3, 2024.
She grew up in Harlem, New York with her two brothers and sister. After graduating from Cathedral High School, Mary-Eliane worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where she was a valued and respected employee. Afterward, she worked for the New York City Housing Authority prior to moving to Georgia.
Mary-Eliane joins her husband of 50 years, Miguel Kavanaugh, who passed away on April 12, 2024. She is survived by her daughters Marlinda and Marisa; son-in-law Kahron Hogans; grandchildren Maya, Michael, Kahron Jr., and Carin of New York; her sister, Josiane Robinson of Florida; brothers, Alain Robinson and Claude Robinson of New York; nephews, Claude Robinson Jr of North Carolina and Christopher Walker of Florida; nieces, Claudette Robinson-Felton of Georgia and Tomeikka Brown of Toronto, Canada; sisters-in-law, Vallie Copeland, Dot Fields, and Elverta Robinson of Georgia; family friend, Roslyn Hairston of New York; as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews.
Her strength, warmth and resilience are deeply missed.
A joint memorial service will be held for Mary-Eliane and her husband in New York later in May.
