Mrs. Melrose B. Conyers, age 95, of Auburn, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014. A native of DeKalb County, Mrs. Conyers received her Master's degree from Oglethorpe University, she was a retired school teacher having served with Hall, Gwinnett and Walton Counties. She was preceded by her husband Ernest Conyers in 2005 and her sister Willie Rue Cook.
Surviving are Sons, Donald Conyers of OK, Alvin B. Conyers of Auburn, GA, Brother, Dock Felton Black, Jr. of CA, Grandchildren, Sara E. Conyers of OR, Kyle R. Conyers of Jackson, GA, Seth P. Conyers of Jackson, GA, Danielle Bell of OK, Caitlin Fariser of OK, Great Grandchild, Nina Bell of OK.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, December16, 2014 from the Auburn First Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Parkin officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery, Stone Mountain, GA at 2:00 P. M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, www.donate.salvationarmyusa.org .
