Mildred Snelling Blackwell

Mrs. Mildred Snelling Blackwell, age 94, of Dacula, Georgia passed away June 10, 2022. Mrs. Blackwell was born August 6, 1927 in Monroe, Georgia to the late Obie Candler and Bessie Elizabeth Thompson Snelling. She was the widow of Mr. Roy Lee Blackwell, and was preceded by her siblings, Charles Snelling, Fannie Freeman, John Snelling and Edna Tullis, and a great granddaughter, Jacquelyn Saggus. She was a longtime attendee of Bethabra Baptist Church and was a retiree of Bell South Telecommunications.

Surviving are Children, Glenda (Tommy) Flowers, Frank (Shelia) Lovell, Jr., Barry (Karen) Lovell and Christie Bowman, Fourteen Grandchildren, Eighteen Great Grandchildren, and Six Great Great Grandchildren.

The Family will receive friends Monday, June 13, 2022 from 4:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. at the funeral home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11 A. M. Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Duke Forster officiating. Interment will be in the Bethabra Baptist Church Cemetery.
