Mr. Charles "Rocky" Burke

Mr. Charles Francis Burke, age 75, of Winder, died Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Braselton.

He was born on May 17, 1950, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He was the son of John Burke and Helen Ferguson Burke. He had two sisters Beverly (deceased) and Kathleen.

Charles was proud to be a Marine serving during the Vietnam war and was honorably discharged in December 1972. Charles was known to most as Rocky. Over the years Rocky enjoyed boxing. He attended Off the Ropes boxing gym (now called Real Dig Boxing) in Winder for many years. He loved to coach and train others. He was also a member at the Brad Akins YMCA for the past 23 years.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
