Mr. Curtis Edward Dalton

Mr. Curtis Edward Dalton, age 78, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, surrounded by his family, in the comfort of home on his beloved farm. 

Mr. Dalton served the United States faithfully during the Vietnam War where he was received a Purple Heart. Curtis worked in construction most of his life. He retired to tend to his farm to work with his cows and grow vegetables for local farmer markets. Curtis was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed working with wood and spending time deer hunting. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Trudi Travis Dalton; his parents; and all of his eight siblings. 

Curtis is survived by his son, David (Cassie) Dalton of Winder; and two grandchildren, Reece Dalton and Riley Dalton both of Winder. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. Burial with military honors will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will recieve friends on Saturday, April 18 from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mr. Dalton.
