Mr. Danny DeWayne Young, age 78, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Danny or "Dan" was raised in Boaz, Alabama, graduated from Auburn University, and spent most of his life living in Metro Atlanta. Dan loved playing music and even performed original contemporary Christian music with his wife Dianne. He enjoyed watching Auburn sports, win or lose. He relished trips to St. Simons Island, taking the back roads to get there. Dan had a sizable collection of Santa Claus figures. 

Dan is survived by his wife of 38 years, Dianne Young of Bethlehem; his children, Eric Young of Bethlehem and Denise Young of Winterville; his grandchildren, Will, Tybee, Alora, Anderson, and Judith; and his brother, Ronald (Jo Ann) Young of Huntsville. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Clara Young; and his son, Kris Langley

A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Mr. Danny Young will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 22, 2026 from 1:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home. 

 In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the National Kidney Foundation.

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
