Mr. Don H. Walker II

Mr. Don H. Walker II, age 74, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at his residence. 

Don will be remembered best as a loving father, brother, and grandfather. He was a devoted friend and would help anybody that was in need. Mr. Walker was of the Christian faith. 

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his parents; Don Halsey Walker and Mattie Lee Rush Walker; brother, Jeff Walker; and his beloved German Shepard, Rufus.

Mr. Walker is survived by his daughters; Shannon Palmiter of Hoschton and Kristee Carswell of Winder; sister, Patricia Walker of Bristol, VA; three grandchildren, Owen Palmiter, Anderson Palmiter, and Adalay Carswell; and a special furry companion, Remy. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 14, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Rev. John Burchfield officiating. The family will be recieving friends on Friday, March 14, 2025 from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home. 

In accordcance with Mr. Walker's wishes, following the service, he will be cremated. 

Flowers are accpeted for the funeral service of Mr. Walker. 

Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
