Mr. Ed William Bolton

Mr. Edwin William Bolton, age 80, of Auburn, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, surrounded by his family, at his residence. 

Ed was born on September 17, 1945 in Camden, NJ and then later moved to Florida after spending eleven blessed years in Vero Beach. Ed then moved to Lynchburg, VA to work for the Old Time Gospel Hour and worked for forty-eight years for major printing companies. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Bolton. 

Mr. Bolton is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Linda Tucker Bolton; children, Lori Moore, Melissa Hardesty, and Michael Bolton; grandchildren, Kimberly Davis, Benjamin Moore, Daniel Moore, Hillary Trumbull, Nicole Hinds, Xandi Moore, Sterling Moore, Cliff Hardesty, Carly Hutch, Cameron Hardesty, Haley Crumley, Dillon Bolton, Noah Bolton, Rebecca Bolton, and Jarred Bolton; nineteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Doug Swafford officiating. A private family burial will follow the service at Auburn City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 26, from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home. 

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mr. Bolton.
