Mr. Harold Wayne Rutledge Sr.

Mr. Harold Wayne Rutledge, Sr., a lifelong resident of Winder, Georgia, was born on May 31, 1964, and peacefully passed away at his home on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at the age of 61.

Born to the late Harold Junior Rutledge and Mildred Sue Smith, Mr. Rutledge was deeply rooted in his community, having spent his entire life in Winder. He dedicated many years of his professional life to Peachstate Paving. 

Mr. Rutledge was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sharon Ann McDaniel Rutledge. His passing leaves behind cherished memories and a loving legacy carried forward by his son, Wayne Rutledge, Jr., & Robin. He is also survived by his siblings, Angelia Evans and Jody Rogers, whose support and love were a significant part of his life. Additionally, he leaves behind his uncle, Howard Sauls, and Glenda, who shared bonds of family and affection with him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Mr. Rutledge’s life and legacy. 

Maddox Memorial Home in Winder has been entrusted with the arrangements.
