Mr. James Michael Hunt

Mr. James Michael Hunt, age 55, of Flowery Branch, passed away at his residence on Friday, July 11, 2025.

He leaves behind a legacy marked by his profound talent as a musician and entertainer. Throughout his life, Michael demonstrated exceptional skill as a guitar player, captivating audiences with his love for country music. His passion for performance and ability to connect with listeners made him a vibrant presence in the music community.

Michael also had a deep affection for riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, further reflecting his adventurous spirit and zest for life. His pursuits outside of music showcased his free-spirited nature and a love for living life to the fullest.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Gerald Michael Hunt and Jimmie Ledbetter Hunt. Michael is survived by a host of extended family and devoted friends who will cherish his memory and the joy he brought into their lives.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.
