Mr. Jerry Alvin Brown, age 82, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at his residence, with his loving wife by his side.
Mr. Brown retired from Hill's Ace Hardware as a forklift operator and a small engine repairman. Jerry was also an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing. He will be remembered best as a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather.
Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Brown and Ruby Johnson Brown, and siblings, Gene Brown and Shirley Peppers.
Mr. Brown is survived by his devoted wife of forty years, Brenda Jenkins Brown of Winder; son, Jerry Ray (Dawn) Brown of Kingsland; granddaughter, Heather Brown of Kingsland; sister, Ann Fulcher of Auburn; brothers-in-law, Rodney Jerrell Jenkins of Winder and Donald Jenkins of Auburn; sisters-in-law, Tina Jenkins (John) Friel of Auburn and Melissa Susan Jenkins (Byron) Montgomery of Carl; along with a host of nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.
Flowers are accepted for the family of Mr. Brown.
