Mr. Jimmy Lewis Brown

Mr. Jimmy Lewis Brown, age 68, of Comer, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025.

Mr. Brown retired in Industrial Maintenace with South Wire in Watkinsville. He served as a Deacon at Comer First Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Arthur Brown and Fannie Victoria Geeter Brown.

Jimmy is survived by his sons, Josh Brown of Winder, and Jason (Kimberly) Brown of Wake Forest, NC; sister, Frances (Calvin) Bentley of Winder; brother, John Brown of Bishop; and one grandchild, Zoe Brown of Wake Forest, NC.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Evergreen Memorial Park in Athens, Georgia. The family will receive friends at the graveside. 

Flowers are accepted for the graveside service of Mr. Brown. 

Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
