Mr. Ken Tuttle, age 92, of Statham, Georgia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at Walden’s Cove Person Care Home.
Ken is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Donna C. Tuttle and his son, John (Renee) Tuttle of Canton, Georgia, daughter, Christine Weaver of Greensboro, North Carolina, and sons, Rick (Elisa) Carnes of Winder, GA and Scott (Allyson) Carnes of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Thelma Tuttle. Ken was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and worked for McLean’s Trucking Company.
He was employed by K-MART Distribution Center, where he and Donna met, and retired with 33 years of service. After retiring from K-MART he continued to work with dealer transfer companies like Akins Ford and Gene Evans Ford. Automobiles were one of his passions in life. When asked, he could name the year, make, and model of any vehicle out there.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026, in the chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Dwight Torbett and Rev. Eric Buffington officiating. A private burial will be held at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, from 11:00 AM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to Boys Town of America or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his honor.
