Mr. Marion Dewey Perry

Mr. Marion Dewey Perry, age 80, of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

While serving the United States faithfully in the Navy, he was stationed on The U.S.S. Forrestal Air Craft Carrier. He worked in construction throughout his life as the owner of Perry Construction. Marion was a devoted family man and will be remembered best as a loving father and grandfather. He lived life to the fullest. 

Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his son, Zane Perry; parents, Melvin and Frances Mathis Perry; and sister, Donna Clack. 

He is survived by his sons, Derek Perry of Winder and Drake Perry of Danielsville; and four grandchildren, Elijah Rivera Rodriguez, Bentley Perry, Briella Ann Luisa Perry, and Kace Perry. 

A private family service and burial was held in accordance with the wishes of Mr. Perry. 

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
