Mr. Pedro Antonio Umanzor

Mr. Pedro Antonio Umanzor, age 77, of Tucker, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family,

Mr. Umanzor was preceded in death by his wife, Consuelo Mercado Umanzor; his parents, Neftali Antonio Umanzor and Ana Beatriz Buruca; and siblings, Maria Teresa Buruca and Martha Buruca. 

He is survived by his children, Reyna Umanzor (Jamie Flores), Alicia Reyes (David), Sandra Rivas (Willfredis), Jose Mercado Umanzor (Helen), and Cesar Mercado (Claudia); siblings, Higino Buruca, Reynaldo Buruca, Angela Buruca, Magdaleno Buruca, Lucila Buruca, and Bertha Buruca; grandchildren, Melissa Mendiola, Denisse Flores, Genesis Flores, Charlie Reyes, Jasmine Reyes, Christopher Reyes, Leslie Rivas, Giselle Rivas, Chelsea Rivas, Eric Umanzor, Karla Padilla, Andrew Umanzor, Ian Umanzor, Elio Herrera, Kimberly Mercado, Cesar Junior Mercado, and Brian Mercado; and three great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aeson, and Arlet Mendiola.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 4, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. Burial will follow the service at Hill Haven Memory Gardens in Monroe. The family will receive friends on Friday evening, April 3, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and from 9:00 AM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mr. Umanzor.
