Mr. Quillian "Quill" McCoy Everett, age 84, of Winder, Georgia, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, September 22, 2026.

Born on February 3, 1942, Quill was a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a true sportsman. He loved spending his days outdoors, whether he was on the golf course, hunting, fishing, or passionately cheering on his beloved Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets playing football.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Sandra McDonald Everett of Winder; his daughter, Kellie (Terry) Savage of Winder; his granddaughter, Sarah Savage of Winder; and his sister, Virginia Greeson of Auburn. Quill was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Eileen Morgan Everett, and his brother, Ronnie Everett.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home with Rev. Sammy Everett officiating. Burial will take place immediately after the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens in Winder, Georgia. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home
