Mr. Raymond L. Stepp, age 86, of Statham, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He had a lifelong interest in mechanics and aviation, and he went on to work as an aviation mechanic. In his free time, Raymond enjoyed woodworking and building model airplanes. He also had a love for motorcycles and appreciated the freedom of the open road. Raymond enjoyed spending time outside, especially camping, with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Dick Stepp; parents, Norman and Bonnie Stepp; son, Michael Dean Stepp; brother, Thomas Stepp; and grandson, Michael Jade Stepp. 

Mr. Stepp is survived by his sons, Richard Raymond Stepp of Atlanta and Robert William (Yvonne) Stepp of Winder; three grandchildren, Georgia Megan Stepp, Ann Marie (Joe) Morris, and Hannah Michelle Stepp (Austin Holbrook); and three great-grandchildren, Robert Barclay Vance, Nora Jane Morris, and Emberlyn Reid Holbrook.

No formal services will be held.

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
