Mr. Robert Gene Davis

Mr. Robert Gene Davis, age 87, of Statham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at his residence.

Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his parents; Edward Davis and Ruth Jackson Davis; siblings, James Davis, William Davis, Shelby Davis, Betty Hendley, Bob Davis, and Chuck Davis; stepdaughter, Tina Truett; and grandson, Christopher Hunt.

Mr. Davis is survived by his loving wife, Doris Wells Davis of Statham; son, Blaine (Tina) Davis of Red Level, AL; step-children, William (Kim) Wells of Statham, David (Dawn) Wells of Lawrenceville, and Wayne Wells of Statham; thirteen grandchildren, Justice Truett, Jonas Truett, Darci Wells, Hannah Wells, Christopher Wells, Laura Fallon, Ashely Wells, Taylor Wells, Jordon Wells, Abigail Wells, Amelia Wilburn, Tiffany Hunt and Brandon Hunt; sisters-in-law, Sarah Davis of Laverne, AL and Deborah Guevara of Statham; along with several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 7, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Pastor Tommy Fountain officiating. Burial will follow the service at Gwinnett Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mr. Davis.
