Mr. Ronald Lee Ridgeway, age 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Mr. Ridgeway retired from Bellsouth after thirty plus years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and work in his garden. He also loved to read in his spare time. Ronald was a very humble and generous man that stayed true to his word. You could depend on him in any situation. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Grace Lovin Ridgeway; brother, Robert Ridgeway; and granddaughter, Stephanie Doster. 

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Ann Morris Ridgeway of Bethlehem; children, Alex Ridgeway of Bethlehem, Mendy Doster (David) Evans of Snellville, and Gregory Doster of Pell City, AL; brother, Royce Ridgeway of Marietta; three grandchildren, Amanda Doster, Peyton Doster, and Adam Doster; and one great-grandchild, Elijah Doster. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday evening, May 16, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox Memorial Home. Following the visitation, a brief prayer will be held. In accordance with Mr. Ridgeway's request, no formal service will take place. 

The family respectfully request in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Mr. Ridgeway to the American Heart Society. 

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
