Mr. Terry Ray Bentley

Mr. Terry Ray Bentley, age 85, of Statham, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, surrounded by his family. 

Mr. Bentley was a native of Statham. He retired from Allied, formerly, Complete Auto Transit, after thirty-one years of dedicated service. He was affectionately known at Oak Pointe Memory Care as "Mr. Rotton" where they really spoiled and cared for him.

Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Perkins Bentley; daughter, Terri Nyoka "Nikki" Gambill; and parents, Ralph Bentley and Martha Harris Jones Bentley. 

He is survived by his daughter, Tara (Ken) Healan of Statham; brother, Calvin (Frances) Bentley of Winder; three grandchildren, Katie (Larry Suarez) Cain of Statham, Kyle (Rebecca) Healan of Spring Hill, TN, and Hunter Healan of Statham; three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Braxton, and Sophia; and those he loved-Alice Drummond. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 9, from 12:00 PM until the service hour at Maddox Memorial Home.

Flowers are accepted for the service of Mr. Bentley.
