Mr. Timothy James Roe, age 79, of Monroe, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, February 12, 2026, surrounded by his family. Mr. Roe dedicated his life to both his family and his professional endeavors.

As a prominent figure in the business community, Mr. Roe was celebrated for his entrepreneurial spirit and remarkable success across multiple businesses. He retired as the Franchisee of Valvoline Instant Oil Change, where he operated nine locations. Mr. Roe's career was marked by his unwavering dedication and a strong work ethic, qualities that he instilled in those around him. In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, Mr. Roe served honorably in the United States Navy, a testament to his commitment to his country.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Roe was known for his generosity, often going out of his way to assist friends and employees alike. His legacy of kindness and support will be fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Mr. Roe cherished his family above all. His life was filled with love, laughter, and deeply cherished moments spent with his loved ones.

Mr. Roe also had a passion for fly fishing. He enjoyed spending the time outdoors in the trout stream with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Roe Davis; parents, Russell Roe and Carolyn Springer Roe; and sister, Judith O'Callaghan. 

Mr. Roe is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Sondra Stynchcombe Roe of Monroe; daughter, Erica Anne Roe of Loganville; four grandchildren, Anna Casey of Loganville, William Casey of Loganville, Emerson Davis of Suwanee, and Andrew Davis of Suwanee; and two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jameson Shaw both of Loganville.

A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. 

The family respectfully request, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Association.

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
