Obituary

Mr. Willie "Bill" Lee Peppers, age 85, of Auburn, entered into eternal rest peacefully, surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at his residence. 

Mr. Peppers was a faithful employee of Peachtree Packing for many years, working up until the day he passed away.

Bill had a heart for everyone he met. He loved people deeply. He cared for those around him and had a special gift for making friends feel like family. His kindness impacted the lives of many friends and family. Mr. Peppers also had a passion for dancing. He loved going to dance every chance he had. He faithfully watched racing; you could often find him watching NASCAR or watching the Winder - Barrow races at the dirt track. 

Mr. Peppers is preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Diane Hefner Peppers; parents, Vernon Lee Peppers and Callie Montine Price Peppers; and brother, Buddy Tom Peppers

Bill is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Lee Peppers Knight, Loganville; Rita Yvonne Peppers Gearin, Monroe; Deborah Sueann Peppers Casto, Auburn; sons, Randall Lamar Peppers (Brenda), Jefferson; Donald Lee Peppers, Auburn; brother, Charles Thomas Peppers, Monroe; sisters, Bertha Montine Peppers, Monroe; Patricia Diane Peppers, Dacula. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Maddox Memorial Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, Sunday, June 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Maddox Memorial Home. Following the service, Mr. Peppers will be cremated. 

Flowers are accepted for services of Mr. Peppers.

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with all arrangements.
