Mr. Windell Clarion Tullis, affectionately known as "W.C.", age 90, of Winder, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, peacefully surrounded by his family.

A native to Hoschton, he was a was an active member of Hoschton Baptist Church. Mr. Tullis served a lengthy career in law enforcement, serving with numerous agencies throughout his career. A man of strong Christian faith, W.C. loved the Lord and sought to reflect that faith in the way he lived and treated others- with kindness, compassion, and meekness.

Mr. Tullis is proceeded in death by his parents, Rev. John Loyd Tullis and Ethel Montine Boss Tullis; daughter, Wanda Tullis; and sister, Evelyn Roberts Pearson.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Betty Tullis of Winder; daughter, Wendy Tullis of Winder; stepchildren, Tammy Darlene Totherow of Auburn, Cheryl Denise Totherow of Cleveland, Sandra Lynn Thomas of Apple Valley, and Terry N. Tompkins of Gainesville; grandchild, Tori Tullis of Winder, along with 14 Step Grandchildren, and a host. ste-great-grandchildren, step-great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Maddox Memorial Home on Sunday, August 30th, 2026 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Hoschton Baptist Church at 2:00 on Monday, August 31st, 2026 with Rev. Cory Sexton and Dr. Gary Deems officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hoschton City Cemetery.  

The family would like to thank Amedisys Home Health and Hospice for the loving care that was shown to W.C.
