Mrs. Amy Mohn Young

Mrs. Amy Mohn Young, 55, of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away on May 16, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose presence brought warmth and love to all who knew her.

Amy was the devoted wife of Russell Young, sharing 31 beautiful years of marriage. She was the cherished daughter of Carroll and Susan Mohn of North Carolina and the loving mother of Hannah (Adam) Tucker of Moccasin Creek, Georgia, and Hurst (Kayla) Young of Loganville, Georgia. Amy is also survived by her sister, Callie Mohn of Carrollton, Georgia, along with her niece, Julia Kovalev, and nephew, Michael Kovalev.

Amy's kindness, unwavering love, and gentle spirit left a lasting imprint on those fortunate enough to be part of her life. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the joy and comfort she brought to others.

A visitation will be held at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home in Winder, Georgia, on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm, followed by graveside funeral service at 2:00 pm at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Mr. Adam Tucker officiating.

Amy’s family and friends will continue to honor her memory, carrying forward the love and kindness she shared with the world.
