Mrs. Barbara Abner Bowen

Mrs. Barbara Abner Bowen, age 83, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

Mrs. Bowen was a native of Winder. Barbara was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Bowen; and parents, Luciaus Preston Abner and Elmer Corine Stancil Abner; along with her son, daughter, and siblings. 

Per the request of Mrs. Bowen no formal services will be held. A private burial will take place at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Maddox Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
