Mrs. Darlene Sue King

Mrs. Darlene Sue King, age 80, of Winder, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. King retired as a seamstress with R and R Maufacturing Company. She will be remembered best as a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.

Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bob Fine and Grace Powell Fine; and granddaughter, Kerri Blackwell.

She is survived by her devoted husband of thirty-seven years, Abbas Shakeri of Winder; son, Larry (Cindy) Pourron of Winder; step-son, Sam (Fiona) Shakeri of Winder; sister, Marie Fine Conn of Winder; grandchildren, Paige Pourron, Cheyenne Pourron, Anthony Pourron, and Michael Pourron; grandson-in-law, David Blackwell; step-grandchildren, Kaylee Shakeri, Addison Shakeri, Skyler Shakeri, Izzy Shakeri, and D.J. Shakeri.

Per the request of Mrs. King, no formal service will be held. 

Maddox-Carter Memorial Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
