Mrs. Eveline Roberts Ransom

Mrs. Eveline Roberts Ransom, age 93, of Auburn, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025, at her residence. 

Mrs. Ransom was a member of Appalachee Baptist Church of Auburn. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell Ransom; son, Luther Tuggle; parents, Harvey Wilson Roberts and Edna Williams Roberts; and siblings, James Roberts, Dewey Roberts, Opal Bowles, Ailene Strong, Betty Lou Turner, Harvey Wilson Roberts, Jr., and Sharon Bailey. 

Mrs. Ransom is survived by her children, Orlinda (David) Roberts of Eastanollee, Billy (Angelia) Tuggle of Auburn, Gene (Lily) Tuggle of Lillian, AL, and Irene Quinn of Auburn; brother, Larry Garfield (Judy) Roberts of Norcross; ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. 

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 15, 2025 in the Chapel of Maddox-Carter Memorial Home with Rev. Tony Bailey officiating. Burial will follow the service at Barrow Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Maddox-Carter Memorial Home. 

Flowers are accepted for the funeral service of Mrs. Ransom.
